Only the five most important ones are considered further.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1eaa4ed elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1eaa4ed\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4><strong>Step 3 Presumed Causes \u2013 Hypotheses<\/strong><\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a0ee972 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a0ee972\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Step 3 uses all the information collected to formulate hypotheses about the presumed causes.<\/p><p>In contrast to other problem-solving methods, the search for causes is started at a late stage of the procedure. It is not about wishes or brainstorming, but about fact-based arguments.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-eebbb5f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"eebbb5f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In the case of complicated problems, several causes in a logical interaction must be taken into account and together form the hypothesis of what is causing the problem.<\/p><p>Several hypotheses may seem plausible, and in step 3 of the process it is not yet possible to decide which one is really correct.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-351b657 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"351b657\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4><strong>Step 4 Exclusion Process for Hypotheses<\/strong><\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d70a1bf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d70a1bf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In step 4, the collected facts are shown again. All entries in the seven categories, both \u201cis\u201d and \u201cis not,\u201d must be explainable by the hypothesis without contradiction.
