Which tools need to be built for this? How many tools are needed to produce the planned number of units (simultaneously, due to wear and life cycle replacement)?<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Planning the control of the process, i.e., the interaction of measurements on process parameters and process results and their evaluation and use for process control or the selection of good and bad.<br \/><em>e.g., a temperature sensor built into the tool that heats and maintains the injection mold at an optimized temperature via a heating control system. A \u201ccraftsman\u201d uses tools, but automation is minimal. Human skill determines the details of the execution. The result can be easily compared from product to product. This means that there are criteria that support a consistent result or allow the result to be evaluated. P-FMEA becomes relevant in such repetitive activities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-037a2d8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"037a2d8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In industrial production processes, such as those found in automotive manufacturing, the food industry, but also in the pharmaceutical industry, medical technology, or the manufacture of everyday items in large quantities, the aim is to reduce the potentially negative impact of human error. Over the decades, this has given rise to techniques such as poka-yoke or automatic measurement and control.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8b165d0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8b165d0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Poka Yoke are devices that either fundamentally prevent errors from occurring or reliably detect and immediately respond to errors should they occur.<br \/><em>For example, the product is designed in such a way that it can only be assembled in one specific way. This prevents both incorrect assembly and mix-ups. Or there is a simple test procedure that checks a unique feature during each step or immediately after the manufacturing step. If something is wrong, the process is stopped and immediate action is taken. No error can proceed to the next step. <\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f09d202 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f09d202\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>We are all familiar with automatic measurement and control from our home heating systems: <em>we have a thermostat on the wall that is set to a specific temperature (setpoint). The thermostat contains a sensor, a measuring device for temperature. With a certain tolerance above and below the setpoint, the thermostat switches a signal on or off. When \u201con,\u201d the heating valve opens and additional heat is allowed into the room; when \u201coff,\u201d the valve closes and the heat supply is interrupted. For the user, the room temperature always remains within the desired range and heat loss through doors, windows, and walls is balanced out. Something similar also happens in industrial processes\u2014from soldering irons to blast furnaces.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-639c96a e-flex e-con-boxed elementor-invisible e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"639c96a\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;animation&quot;:&quot;fadeIn&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8411aea elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8411aea\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Filling the Process FMEA<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-873e947 e-flex e-con-boxed elementor-invisible e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"873e947\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;animation&quot;:&quot;fadeIn&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5e8eb6b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5e8eb6b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>How are the considerations of planning and P-FMEA incorporated into daily production processes?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-10ca4c4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"10ca4c4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In theory, the production control plan (PCP) is THE binding control document.<\/p>\n<p>In practice, this is sometimes the case. In the vast majority of applications, however, the PCP is a formal stack of paper in the foreman&#8217;s office drawer, really only there to show an auditor.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-53840b1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"53840b1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The real organization of production is then controlled by separately created work instructions. And with the first digital systems, known as manufacturing execution systems (MES).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d6c9771 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d6c9771\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Such systems accompany the activities. They show which parts are required for the variant that is now to be assembled. And the parameters and test results were recorded digitally directly. Of course, this can only work if all activities have been prepared and preprogrammed as a sequence.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-04e84cb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"04e84cb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Traditionally, the PCP \u201cbelongs\u201d to quality. The MES \u201cbelongs\u201d to production. Two responsibilities, two worlds.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d989b42 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d989b42\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This is still the case in many companies today.<\/p>\n<p>But in many ways, this is more of a problem than a help, apart from the double effort of filling two systems with the same content.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the different responsibilities and manual creation, PCP and MES were and are usually not identical.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0a43ffc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0a43ffc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>But that should be the goal: planning should reflect reality as closely as possible (keyword: digital twin) in order to provide valuable support. And planning should be the joint result of production, production engineering, logistics, maintenance\/servicing, and quality. It shows optimization and, in the end, a binding decision.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5d7b8e9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5d7b8e9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>And now it&#8217;s a matter of transferring this planning results into the system that gives the instructions, requests the tests, and collects the results in on-site production.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f2d0907 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f2d0907\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The MES combines the <strong>preventive<\/strong> actions during process execution with the <strong>detection<\/strong> actions = measurements and inspections and the <strong>reactions<\/strong> to errors that occur. And it is precisely these actions that should already be created and considered in the PFMEA.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f905f42 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f905f42\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Unfortunately, there is no normative specification for how the flow of information from the drawing to the P-FMEA and from there to the PCP and the implementations in the MES should take place. PFMEA and PCP are defined independently of each other.
