That’s me
My name is Uwe-Klaus Jarosch
1981-1996
Education, Research and Teaching
I have been interested in technology from start. Therefore, I started my studies at RWTH Aachen in mechanical engineering.
In this time the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology was founded. I was one of the first students working for the institute, in research as well as for rehersals. Physics for engineers is perfectly included in a PH.D. on highest power CO2 lasers.
1997
Working as operations manager for laser engraved printing rollers at Haldenwanger, Berlin, I got an impression how important it is to have a plan in detail for a successful production site. Additionally, I became involved in audits and metrology as the QM representative of the company.
2000
I started as director of development for diode laser pumped Nd-YAG lasers at IBLaser in Berlin. Physik again mixed with mechanical engineering.
2004
For about 20 years I am working in quality for a number of automotive suppliers. Tasks have been Q-management, metrology lab, advanced quality planning, IATF16949 Auditor, expert for methods and QM software tools as well as Q director.
2021
Many ideas and lots of experiences from daily work have been collected in a book “Advanced planning – step by step from idea to product”.
At German Society for Quality [DGQ] I was invited to perform a sequence of 6 webinars, with topics mainly taken from the book.
2024
Today, I have my own business as consultant, FMEA moderator, trainer, coach, leader of task force and author.
