10 years ago I had the pleasure to be part of a small, decicive team with the task to select a CAQ system for advanced quality planning and audit in a globally active enterprise and then to do the implementation.
Even today in some places the digitalization is to use an office tool package for each and everything.
Office is a powerful toolset. But to support the use and analysis of data it is strongly limited.
There is a reasonably large number of potential tools. Some sales people explain every task to be solved immediately , in the standard package, without any training.
Please be aware: Software must fit for your company, for your organization, for your processes.
In most cases this needs company specific alignments.
Software fitting without alignment would be a – not expectable – piece of luck.
